Returns & Refund Policy

At Self Identity, we are committed to providing premium-quality hair extensions. Due to the nature of our products and strict hygiene standards, all returns are subject to the conditions below.

7-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.

Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must:

• Be unused, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
• Have all original packaging intact
• Have security seals, bundle ties, and tags fully intact
• Be in the same condition as received
• Include proof of purchase

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for hair extensions that have been installed, brushed, combed, cut, coloured, or tampered with in any way.

Custom Units
All custom wig units are made to order and are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless faulty.

Sale Items
All sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded or returned.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. You must contact us within 48 hours at info@selfidentity.co.uk if your order is damaged, faulty, or incorrect. We will assess the issue and provide a resolution.

Return Approval Required
All returns must be approved before being sent back. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you if your refund has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Shipping Responsibility
Self Identity is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed parcels once they have been dispatched. All orders include tracking, and responsibility transfers to the courier upon shipment.

Incorrect Address Policy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Self Identity is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.

Chargebacks & Disputes
By placing an order with Self Identity, you agree to our shipping and returns policy. Any fraudulent chargebacks or disputes will be investigated. We reserve the right to provide evidence of delivery confirmation, tracking, and customer communication to the payment provider.

Restocking Fee
Approved returns may incur a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers the cost of inspection, handling, and secure repackaging to maintain our quality standards. Restocking fees will not apply to items that are faulty, damaged, or sent incorrectly.
